I love this product for walking at the beach or walking my dogs. But once in a while, I am wearing pants that have the wrong kind of waistband, or are slightly too big to begin with, and the bag weighs down the pants too much. So, I wanted to buy a strap to have the option of carrying it like a regular purse. The wallet is a nice little bonus. All great, highly recommend. I get a lot of compliments/questions on it, too.
